Two small planes crashed in northeast Nebraska within an hour of each other Aug. 26. New NTSB reports note fog in the area at the time of the fatal accidents.

The plane was found at 9:30 a.m. in a field near Crofton. First responders said the conditions were foggy and visibility was 50 feet. There was debris found 600 feet from the field. The report provided a picture of a wind turbine near the crash scene illustrating visibility conditions.
